About Grid Patch Puzzle
Grid Patch Puzzle is a free logic game with 5 levels, from a quick 5×5 warm-up to an 8×8 Master board. Every board starts completely blank except for a set of numbered clue cells. Your job is to draw a shape — a square, a tall rectangle, or a wide rectangle — around each clue so its cell count matches its number, until every cell on the grid belongs to a finished shape.
How to play
Press down on a numbered cell and drag to the far corner of the shape you want to draw, then release. If the cell count matches the number and the outline fits the required shape, the piece locks into place and is colored in. Tap any finished shape to erase it and try again. Keep going until the whole board is patched.
Tips
Start with the clues that only fit one possible outline — corners and clues boxed in by other numbers are the easiest to place first — then use process of elimination for the rest. Stuck on a shape? Hint will always place the one correct, verified solution for you, no guessing involved. You start with 5 hints, and solving a level earns you 2 more.
